  2. Leigh,
Wonderful work. I love the images that you included. I am also glad that you added text elements (caption) to many of the images. In the future you may want to use Powerpoint to create the slides you using in Photostory. Powerpoint will give you more control over the how the image and captions look in the final project.
    Great job.

  3. I really liked this Leigh! I think the captions are a perfect way to emphasize your important points as you go through the story, and helps make them more memorable. It was easy to watch and the length is great - not too short and not too long! Thanks for sharing! :)

  4. The pictures you found for this story are amazing and great for visual learners! You have brought the study of space to life and I know you will engage the students from the first moment. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Leigh--I agree with everybody above in their praise of your digital story, and wanted to add that I think that your speaking pace was excellent. It's easy to get going too fast when doing the voiceover (I found I had to watch out for this in my own DS). But slower is definitely better, because it gives students time to absorb your words and also take in your succinct, to-the-point captions on many of the photos. You also managed to speak slowly without sounding too deliberate--your voice sounded really natural, thoughtful, and somewhat awed by the amazing facts you were describing. Congrats!

  6. Great introduction to NASA's story. I liked the explanations of things we are familiar with and how they came to be as a result of NASA research - it allows for a connection and a desire to know more.
